I've missed you! Are you headed to Robin't Boot Camp this year?

I gathered that from your one comment on a discussion. Had one brief conversation with Labtech, but not ready or in a position to switch right now. Worried about the upgrade to K2 though. Also ticked at Connectwise and generally feeling like we are all pawns in other peoples games. Business is going well the last 6 or 7 months though, so who knows what the end of the year might bring.

Hey - it is nice to talk to you in more than 140 character chunks!

We finished buying our 1000 licenses last summer. Now we are only paying support. I'm guessing if you are using Labtech, the funneling is all toward Connectwise. I'm getting tired of releases that break things that did work and then don't get fixed before the next round of updates that break more things. New features that no one tests are also exciting, and it ticks me off that I apparently have to pay someone else if I actually want accurate SLA reporting. I have made Arnie, Earl and David Watts aware of my extreme displeasure, but they seem disinclined to respond at the moment. After being a partner for 6 years, I think I know more than most of the support team. I have completely given up reporting problems because it takes too long to convince support there is really a problem and then it doesn't get fixed anyway. Just not an effective use of my time.

Robin is a relentless marketer! She is folding her genius league into the producers club. I'm excited about that. She will probably revisit it next year, so who knows at that time. She's bringing some great speakers to the boot camp, so I am really looking forward to it.

Tom stuck with Gary through the summer, but never felt like he was getting what he expected to get from the program. We were looking to be able to close more sales, and Gary seemed to focus more on how to put your offering together, which wasn't where we were. We have gotten some really useful information from people I am in contact with through Robin's group and have had much better success as of late.

Okay, I'm taking some of my mean Connectwise comments back. Got email and phone call from them, and actually talked to Arnie. Gave Linda Brotherton a piece of my mind though. She said it would take a long while to fix a problem because it had only just been reported. Yep - I reported it right after they broke it about a month ago. I guess I'm supposed to anticipate what they will break and report it before it actually happens. I'll work on that.

Obviously not! Except for the first one, they have been really good about scheduling them when I am on vacation or have a local must attend event! Hope it was a good event! Sure hope I can make the next one.
