Has anyone had great success with Probes pushing agent installs? I don't know if I have ever seen this work consistantly... would like to see some feedback on everyones experience with this.

The info fields are awesome

I have modified my LT script for ESET install to look at the machine info field for the existence of data (xml config path)If it find something it uses that for the install... if not it looks to a…Continue

I am having major issues with VNC on windows 7 machines.Kaseya  KVNC had no issues but apparently the version that LT uses is not compatible. I know there are some UAC tweaks that are supposed to fix…Continue

"Looks pretty complete to me :-) my Dev guys love it. If you need to extend Labtech Software reach out and get the SDK as is, I am sure they would be happy to provide you with it."

"SDK documentation is cool, but not complete last I saw and I do not believe it is officially released yet :-)"

"Oh the Documentation is AMAZING... find any Database field table description you need. Total SDK size is about 15MB of Documentation. "

"Exactly what I am talking about.  We love the LabTech software.  It just hasn't reached "critical mass" in terms of functionality.  This happened with Autotask in the PSA world.  Once people in the Autotask…"

"I really think people need to start being creative, if you don't like the way something works then find another way to make what your doing work. Labtech is the only "Open" RMM that will allow you to do what ever the heck you want to…"

"@Kevin:  Sweet.  I will have to play with it later this afternoon.  We have a similar script to install (which checks to see if it is already installed first).  But I like the launching idea.  Very nice.   Regarding…"

"Well you know that Labtech is the only RMM that I know of that has an actual SDK! So talk about extensibility you have the option to create your own buttons.   By the way if anyone wants to use Logme in then import the xml script…"

"Or... increase the extensibility of Labtech.  They don't have to invent the world.  Just expose the hooks so that we can do it easily.  A great example is Autotask.  We don't happen to use them anymore, but I hilight…"

"I couldn't have said it better myself. The only context I like VNC for is a local LAN connection. I sure wish they'd replace it by integrating LogMeIn at some level, like Zenith does."

Dave Purscell replied to Paul Kennedy's discussion Remote Control... or lack of
"Still wish they would replace VNC.  I hated it in Kaseya.  I still hate it in Labtech.  It is slow, kludgey, never fits the screen, slow, and has horrible graphics.  Oh... and did I mention that it is gosh awful slow?  It is…"

"Hi Tommy, I haven't really put LT through its paces yet or had any support issues, so I can't really give you a definitive answer. Once I've really got under the hood, I'll definitely let you know how I'm finding it."

"Hi Alan, How has your experience with LT been so far? Unfortunately, I too am having mixed feelings as the sales process has made me uncomfortable. Without going to detail, it's very similar to what you've dealt with. I'd hate to…"
